Experience & Qualfication

I am fully qualified as a secondary school teacher in the UK, meaning I have the highest level of training as a teacher of foreign languages. I am currently working towards my MA in Education. 
 
Further to this, I have the following experience:
3 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language face-to-face in Italy
1 year of experience teaching Spanish and French as a Foreign Language in the UK
1 year of experience teaching online via Skype
 
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and European Studies (Spanish and Italian), meaning I also have a lot of experience studying foreign languages myself, so I understand what you are going through!

I can provide lessons suited to your needs. I particularly give emphasis on speaking in my lessons, to allow you to practice and become confident in communicating. Furthermore, as a native speaker of English then I can help you to develop natural speech that uses idiomatic expressions that we use in the UK, and of course you will get used to hearing a native accent.

I employ a variety of techniques in my lessons, including listening to music and analysing it, playing speaking games, having debates and discussions, correcting written work, working on pronunciation and much more. I will of course tailor everything to your level, to make sure that you progress.
